Whistleblower Protection System of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg

According to the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG), individuals who have obtained information about violations of the law during the course of their professional activities and report this information may not be disadvantaged in any way. Employers are therefore obliged to set up confidential internal reporting channels.

The FAU reporting office operates an online portal for reporting any violations of the law in accordance with Section 2 of the HinSchG.

This is open to all FAU employees as well as former employees, applicants and other persons who have become aware of possible violations of the law at FAU in connection with their professional activities.

The purpose of statutory whistleblower protection is to ensure that legally defined violations can be effectively detected and prevented.

Channels

They are currently on the reporting platform of FAU's internal reporting channel.

In addition to internal reporting, there is also the option of an external report. An overview of external reporting offices can be found in the Usage Notes.

Oral reports

We do not offer an immediate opportunity for oral registrations. However, you can provide the information in the form of an audio recording as part of the report.
